Ur Unique Home Health is owner-led and based in Little Elm — we serve the same neighborhoods we live in. That's not a marketing line; it's why you get a person who knows your file when you call.
What we believe
Care should feel like family showing up — reliably.
Most families come to us at a hard moment: a fall, a diagnosis, or the slow realization that Mom or Dad shouldn't be managing alone anymore. What they need isn't a brochure. It's someone dependable walking through the door, on time, who already knows how your father takes his coffee.
So we built the agency around three unglamorous things: screening people properly, matching them thoughtfully, and showing up consistently. Everything else follows from that.

How we choose caregivers
Everyone who enters your home has been checked — thoroughly.
Criminal history check
Every applicant clears a Texas Department of Public Safety criminal history check before they're eligible to work with any client.
State registry searches
We search the Employee Misconduct Registry and Nurse Aide Registry — required by Texas law to keep anyone with a finding of abuse or neglect out of client homes.
References & interview
We talk to prior employers and personal references, and we interview for temperament as much as experience.
Orientation & competency
New caregivers complete orientation and a competency evaluation before their first visit — and we keep checking in after.

What we don't do.
We're a home care agency, not a medical provider. We don't perform skilled nursing, wound care or medical procedures. If your loved one needs that level of care, we'll tell you plainly and help you find the right provider — even when it means the answer isn't us.
